Q. How can I get Parental Control?
A. All Cable ONE digital customers have access to parental controls through the Interactive Guide. Cable ONE Digital customers can use the Interactive Guide to control what children in their home are watching.
The system works with a blocking capability that can be applied to individual programming or entire networks. No longer do you have to be concerned that your youngsters will be encountering adult situations or language when you're not around. Simply by entering a code and clicking the lock button, the programming you choose is blocked with the parental control lock.
Parents can screen programs by TV rating, title, or movie rating as well. In addition, if children see a padlock symbol next to a title and attempt to try and identify the personal pin number, the television will lock up for 15 minutes after only a few failed attempts. It's just as easy for adults to unblock the programming or channel when they're relaxing without the kids around. Once they enter the code, the blocked program and channel information is reinstated.
